John McCormack Bio
John has been writing about healthcare IT for more than two decades.
John started his career working for magazines such as American Academy of Pediatrics News, McKnight’s Long-Term Care News and Health Data Management (where he served as a senior writer and managing editor for several years) — and now puts his knowledge of the healthcare industry and writing skills to work for a variety of healthcare IT clients.
John has authored a wide variety of articles focused on just about every healthcare IT topic out there – from Y2K (yes, he was writing about health IT way back then!) to EHR implementation to systems integration to health information exchange to Meaningful Use to FHIR – and much more.
Being a writer by training (Master of Arts in Writing from DePaul University) and a storyteller by passion enables John to bring that certain something extra to all of his writing projects and media relations engagements.
